The Mongolian Yurt
Welcome to Horwood Farm Camping – a peaceful hideaway tucked in a secluded one-acre field, surrounded by woods, streams, and wildlife.

With wildflower meadows, ancient trees, and rare-breed animals,
it's a special place we’re proud to share.

Just a short walk from Lower Woods Nature Reserve and 30 minutes from the centre of Bristol, it feels a world away.

If you’re looking to slow down and reconnect with nature, this large yurt that sleeps up to four is a peaceful sanctuary this is for you.

We have now put away this beautiful structure until next summer and we will be letting the cows back in the field. Hopefully see you again next summer!

Fantastic spot! So lovely to be surrounded by beautiful trees and peace and quiet. We stayed with two young children and it was brilliant. A peaceful couple of days with nice places to walk nearby. The yurt was as listed and Sarah and Alex had thought of everything. Would highly recommend!

The yurt was amazing, and just as described. Located in a tranquil site it was walkable to rivers and fields where my children (9 & 12) spent hours splashing and watching the creatures, especially loving the local deer. The fire pit was perfect for cooking on and the yurt itself is huge with board games, cooking items and lovely beds. Sarah and Alex were so helpful and really welcoming. I’d highly recommend this to families or anyone wanting to get away from their screens and back to nature.

Lovely peaceful place to stay. We heard owls and saw deer in the field. Great to have the whole place to ourselves. Cooking on the BBQ and fire was great fun!
